  Provided technical assistance and training in behavior change communication to country governments and non-governmental organizations, for example: - Developed the communication component of Botswana’s national HIV/AIDS prevention plan emphasizing mass media and community mobilization to influence social norms and individual behavior. - Conducted communication and HIV-prevention workshops for UNICEF in Sierra Leone, training government and NGO program managers in program design, communication theory and message development. - Designed and implemented a multi-national HIV/AIDS prevention campaign for the Organization of African First Ladies Against AIDS. Trained staff, produced radio and TV spots, billboards, posters, press ads and a campaign implementation guide. Recognized by Georgetown University for this outstanding pan-African effort. - Created Live Safe, Play Safe: A Life-Skills Curriculum for Coaches integrating HIV-prevention messaging with youth sports training for Right to Play an international, sports-for-development organization.
