  My work with higher education students, and the development of student ambassador and mentoring schemes has enabled me to present at local, regional and national seminars and conferences including: The National Mentoring and Befriending conference; The Higher Education Regional Development Agency annual conference, the launch of the Higher Education Agency National website seminar and the annual Aimhigher regional and sub-regional conference. In addition to public speaking and presenting, the evaluation and research I undertook on the impact of the work offered to students was published in the Journal of Widening Participation in 2005.
