Michelle is a vey talented, energetic, and delightful development professional. I have worked with her extensively as a member of the Mark Morris Dance Group board, and invariably find he responsive and wise. She represents the dance group admirably with all constituencies and embraces diversity and inclusion. We are lucky to have such a valuable senior staff member representing us to the dance group’s many publics and audiences.

In the time that I worked with Michelle at ISSUE Project Room, I witnessed in her a relentless determination that not only increased the ISSUE's funding, but also stabilized the organization when it was going through a leadership transition. She is highly creative and passionate, an effective problem solver, accountable, professional, a supportive team player and a pleasure to work with.

The Mark Morris Dance Group develops, promotes, and sustains the growing repertory of dance, music, and opera productions by prolific choreographer and conductor Mark Morris, and serves as a vibrant cultural resource providing free and low-cost dance instruction. Since my start in 2012, I've led team efforts to increase contributed revenue from $1.7 million annually to $4 million. I've also worked with Board and Executive leadership to design and launch a multi-year comprehensive campaign raising $23 million from 2016 - 2020. As Director of Development, I am responsible for managing development staff, working with board members, maintaining and cultivating contributor relationships. I currently lead our Mark Morris BOLD Campaing, working to raise our annual contributed income to $5 million per year through a two-year campaign raising $10 million.
