  Major Responsibilities : • To be responsible to Shift Charge Engineer in the temporary absence Control Assistant(CA) and responsible the operating in plant include 275kv Switcthyard • To be responsible in complementing the work of SUO in the event of crisis,emergency or danger to plant or personel and take the necessary steps and measures to normalize or shutdown the unit without waiting for instructions from immediate supervisors as time not permit. • To adhere to electrical & mechanical safety procedures in order to prevent danger to personel or damage to plant or equipment • To appropriately respond to alarm and emergencies :to conduct initial troubleshooting ,record all plant defect /abnormalities and also inform Control Assistant AUTHORITY LEVEL Assist the Control Assistant in the following plant operations 1. Plant start-up and shutdown & operation of plant auxiliaries 2. Electrical operation & insulation –remote and local operation (up to 18 kv) 3. Special operation Black Start & is-landing operation ,testing of black start diesel generator 4. Plant monitoring and troubleshooting 5. To monitor and record /calculate the following hours/daily • Plant parameter(e.g. voltage,load,frequency,filed current,stator temperature,etc • Dam level and dewatering level • Units generated and auxiliaries consumption include running hours of the 8 unit 6. Data and information gathering • To log down relevant operation information and data in the CO log sheet • To input operation parameters and data into the computers(e.g. unit generated, auxiliary consumption ,plant unavailability , and dam level • To record relevant information and data during plant tripping and system disturbance 7.
