  As a member of a highly collaborative Agile team at Motion Picture Solutions, an international leader in digital film distribution, my responsibilities included: - Extending existing API functionality to integrate third-party software (including SharePoint, MediaPulse) into business-critical, in-house software suites. - Test-driven development and implementation of robust, brand new RESTful microservices utilising Flask, OpenAPI, Swagger and Django Rest Framework. - Front-end and back-end implementation of new features for a NodeJS mastering and asset management tools suite aiming to significantly improve company’s operational efficiency. - Development of Django server-monitoring tools integrating Splunk, used for automating IP failover, improving the company network resilience and sparing the IT department from unexpected and inconvenient downtimes. - Regularly liaising with Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure software projects meet the requirements.
