I provide HVAC services to a wide variety of clients in Maryland. I utilize Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD to create high quality deliverables.I prepare heating and cooling load calculations per ASHRAE guidelines using various software (Trace Trane, Elite HVAC) and ventilation calculations. I coordinate bases of design, requirements and layouts with other disciplines to ensure the quality and deadlines are met.

- Gained experience with both new construction and rehabilitation through a wide range of projects. - Contributed design concepts during the initial phases of each project undertaken. - Produced construction documents, 3D models and color renderings as required. - Oversaw construction and organized communication with client and contractors as necessary. Working for a small firm definitely has its benefits; I wore many hats and was involved in many aspects of a project. The variety includes private homes, mixed-use commercial spaces and historic restorations. I was responsible for managing each project from design through construction which included: conducting a full structural analysis and design the building systems; generating construction documents and specifications with the use of Vectorworks. Most importantly, I was continuously building relationships with our clients to establish a high level of trust and communication. Another dimension of my role at JCA incorporated my background in architecture. Certain projects require a level of development where architectural concept designs and illustrations are necessary. By using Vectorworks, I was able to model, detail, and render an image to provide our clients with a full visual understanding of an exposed structure. Furthermore, I am able to develop full architectural plans and details to match project objectives. Overall, working for JCA has been a rewarding experience.
