Edu 2.0 is an initiative of the Poland 2.0 Foundation that associates polish students from various european universities. Edu 2.0 is aimed at high school students and other students that are planning to start or continue their higher education in a foreign country. Our goal is to support them in their decision-making by providing useful information based on the study experiences of our Ambassadors. As an Ambassador, my role is to prepare informatory materials regarding my study experiences in the Netherlands. This is achieved through social media posts, webinar sessions with students, blog posts on the Edu 2.0 website in the form of Student Guides, containing information related to my university and student life. Edu 2.0 enables me to actively engage, motivate, and encourage students to expand their horizons and offer them the perspective of further self development by considering the benefits of studying abroad and making the right decision. I actively participated in discussions with the Fund managers and analysed macroeconomic news, brokers’, and financial reports. I learned about investment tactics and strategies, like hedging using short selling, using Bloomberg, and about the structure of the public equity market. This experience enriched me with professional knowledge and allowed me to touch on the investment environment. I believe that elements inherent to investments process like logical thinking, adrenaline, and risk can be combined with fundamental and important concepts of PRI and ESG to achieve outstanding results and a positive impact on both wealth and society which matters a lot to me.
