This was highly collaborative agile environment where I worked in tandem with various stakeholders such as front-end engineers and product management. Every day would begin at 8:30AM with standup and I would proceed with reviewing my peers' code via GitHub pull requests. My primary responsibility was to create back-end components for a content management system for real estate brokers. We used Jira, Slack, and GitHub for communication. Totaled 120,000 transactions for 2021. • Automated trading using Hummingbot, a Python-enabled open-source toolbox for implementing trading and arbitrage strategies. • Converted profits to longer-term strategies utilizing DeFi protocols on multiple blockchains (Algorand, Solana, Cardano, Ethereum) - these included lending/borrowing using collateralized loans to earn APY, staking, and participating in liquidity pools on AMMs. Show less

Worked on a hardware device (fun fact: it had 1TB of RAM) to compliment a traditional NAS (Network Attached Storage) by migrating files to the cloud and offloading all metadata lookups. • Added and maintained core functionality for REST APIs using Python/Flask/Redis. • Created a dashboard for external customers using HTML/CSS/Javascript and Backbone.Marionette. • Debugged multithreaded code communicating across multiple nodes using Wireshark, log aggregation, and remote debugging. • Sped up PostgreSQL by improving indexing and fixing locking problems. • Performed complex merges of upstream vendor repositories with in-house modified versions. • Contributed a successful pull request to open-source Apache libcloud repository.
