May 2012 – August 2012 Worked with a team to replicate Carmel’s R&D Laboratory located in Sweden within a critical timeframe. Developed 70+ test methods for the PhaSeal product line. Specific details included equipment, clearly stated purpose, procedures, appropriate specimens and illustrations. Addressed differences between Carmel and BD fixtures and equipment to validate their use. May 2013-September 2013 Reverse engineered products in order to develop fixtures in SolidWorks for experimental use. Measurement instruments used included a caliper and a comparator. Developed the program for an Instron machine in order to perform axial and torsional tests which measured the torque and angle for the luer lock connection between the PhaSeal Connector and specific IV adaptors. Statistically analyzed data using Minitab software to determine if the PhaSeal Connector meets the requred design specifications. Show less
