PDAcademia is a brand owned by IPS Group Limited (HK), which was formerly known as the Beijing based Intelligent People Solutions (IPS). In 2007 Michael Iannini and other shareholders made investments into IPS with the goal of distributing and licensing eLearning solutions to Educational Institutions. These investments culminated in IPS developing it's own educational consulting brand, PD Academia. June 2011, I oversaw IPS’s investment and management of an equity joint venture, AIXUEZHI, with Expertise Education (www.expertiseedu.com) to provision education management services to its network of 100 private schools in China. These services include licensing and distribution of content, training teaching staff and curriculum development. August 2012 I served as a Director for the Essential Learning Group (www.chinaelg.com), an organization devoted to improving Special Education in Asia. The IPS WFOE was used to assist ELG to open a branch office in Beijing. My responsibilities were to identify, negotiate and oversee the start up the Beijing learning center. August 2020 Search Associates contracted with PD Academia with the purpose of improving the recruitment, orientation and retention practices of International Schools across China. This is a 4 year agreement that will require me to work very closely with Search Associate leadership and their growing membership of International Schools across China.

AIXUEZHI is an equity joint venture, involving IPS, that develops interactive and enriching learning programs for children ages 2 to 6. Our mission is to improve Bi-Lingual education in China. We will achieve this by promoting training opportunities to improve the quality of teaching and administration in schools and delivering Western curriculum and learning resources to schools.With a partner network of 100 Kindergartens and 160 English teachers, we are well positioned to provision educational services to raise the standards of bi-lingual kindergartens throughout China.

ICD is a Security Systems Integrator, based in China with over 100 employees and offices in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and India. I was hired to launch ICD's India office and directly reported to the CEO and CFO. My principle responsibilities were:* Ensure proper registration of the business and obtain all government approvals to begin operations in India* Meet and engage with ICD's Key Account Clientele in India* Recruited and managed a team of engineers, account managers, customer support representatives and administrative personnel* Accomplish the goals set forth in the budget as approved by the Executive Committee* Oversee all Security System Integration projects in India to ensure company and client protocol is maintained at the highest standard possible* Plan and develop a customer support network in 8 cities to ensure 24/7/365 monitoring and onsite support services for all of ICDs clients At the time of my return to China, for personal reasons, the India operation had contracted 400,000 USD in business, had another 400,000 USD in contracts awaiting client approval and a sales pipeline of approximately 2 million USD. Three projects had been successfully completed and 4 projects launched in 4 different cities.Clients that I consulted for were: Dell, Microsoft, Northern Trust Bank, Cisco, Amazon.com, John Deere and Oracle. Executing projects in India presented many unique challenges where I often had to improvise in sourcing materials and leveraging contract labor. Two notable projects that I oversaw were:Northern Trust: Simultaneous Installation and Commissioning for 2 sites totaling 10,000 sq.ft., which included cabling, card readers, cameras, emergency exit doors, network and server configuration and installation of several peripheral security devices. Oracle: Recruited and trained a team of 12 security professionals to manage two security system monitoring stations, 24/7/365, in Hyderabad and Bangalore.

In 2001 I identified a niche in the IT services market in China, researched best practices for servicing the needs of MNCs in Beijing and brought together a group of professionals to launch an IT Services firm that serviced companies such as Thyssan Kruppe, Credit Suisse, Airbus, The British Embassy and several MNC representative offices. In January 2005 I negotiated a merger that resulted in a 200% increase in sustainable gross revenues. The merger increased the service capacity of my previous company and provided a stable cash flow to leverage investments in infrastructure to introduce higher margin MIS and Internet Hosting services. The primary contact for CANDIS's clients were often General Managers, Financial Officers and IT Directors. CANDIS's clients tended to be large MNCs with their IS systems based abroad and our responsibility were to understand the local client's issues, translate to the local client the challenges they faced and work with their IT contacts abroad to identify and implement cost effective solutions.Some of the notable accomplishments were:Recruiting a team of in house Java developers to scope, design and develop a web based Customer Relationship Management system for a disposable healthcare goods manufacturer.Managed a team for over a year consulting a hospital on designing a network to support a proprietary hospital information system (HIS). The HIS was considered mission critical and the network had to ensure 99.999% up time and full data redundancy. Was contracted to manage the procurement and customization of the HIS, which included working closely with Siemens software development team in India and the project management team in China.Managed a team to maintain and provide customer support for a DSL Broadband network, comprising of 2 Grade A office buildings and 3 residential compounds.Organically grew an Internet Hosting infrastructure with nodes in Mainland China, USA, Europe and Hong Kong.
