I have had the pleasure of being Mike’s Co-Chair for the Run of Hope Seattle for the last 11 years. His collaborative partnership in creating and launching this event back in 2009 was the main factor for our success. His passion and drive for giving back to the community is authentic, and together we have surpassed $5.5 Million dollars raised for pediatric brain tumor research in Seattle. The combination of his professionalism, high integrity, and people and management skills have made him an indispensable partner for the Run of Hope. I also sit on the Seattle Children’s Guild Association Board of Trustees with Mike, where I am able to witness his overwhelming commitment to philanthropy.

Mike was my Assistant Director of HR at the Four Seasons Chicago, and it wasn’t long before we all saw the tremendous potential in him. I was new to the brand, and he helped me understand the power of the Golden Rule culture, and how to live that daily with the staff. Not only was he a positive and energetic person to work with, but he possessed an unmatched work ethic, and an incredible knack for creativity and innovation within the HR function. Mike connected with employees on an authentic level, and built trust with ease. He was also a gifted trainer, and when Four Seasons was asked to present personalized service training to outside organizations, Mike built the program and presented the content with genuine passion, because he truly believes it with all his heart. He is an amazing representative for the Four Seasons brand, and there is no better leader to introduce the company to wide eyed hotel and hospitality students across the country and around the world!
