Welfare to work provider subcontracted to Serco & G4S. I was targetted to bring in job roles from local employers and then fill them with our candidates. We worked on a payment by results basis gaining a payment for supporting somebody back into work and then subsequent payments for sustaining that work. I supported people who were long-term unemployed into sustainable and meaningful employment. I worked with people to break down barriers and gave them the motivation and belief to go to the interviews that I set up and to get the jobs. I engaged with a variety of businesses to assist with staffing and training in Yorkshire. Working with industry bodies to develop new business and strategies to fill skills gaps.
