Bio
Michael Rodrigues
Mike is a first-class "connector" of people and opportunities. This is a skill set which is somewhat scarce and highly valued in the nonprofit sector. He possesses a desire to make a difference and to use his extensive experience in doing so. Mike has gained valuable nonprofit experience at Thrive and at the Genesis Club. He has shown great respect and understanding for people with disabilities who don't let disability define who they are, at home, work or at leisure. I highly recommend Mike for any position he feels he is qualified for.

My phone rang at 9:00 one Sunday night, and it was Michael and his wife Beth wanting to look at a condo. We saw it the next day, and within a week they had offered on another property. This required their property be sold…..and so began my exposure to Michael. Through the process of home selling and buying, people are under great stress. Michael always maintained a positive upbeat perspective…accepting advice, standing for what was right, and always open to conversation. As the process progressed, Michael started to ask about my business. He wanted to know how he could help me….whether as an Ambassador at the Corridor 9 Chamber of Commerce, or in the Marlborough Regional Chamber, or by inviting me to attend a Genesis Fund dinner at Worcester’s Mechanics Hall….where Michael was the featured pianist. It was in these contexts I saw Michael the man….thoughtful, caring, compassionate, an advocate for children and especially children affected by birth defects, genetic disorders and intellectual disabilities. Simply put, he is a great resource for anyone looking for insights in insurances and the non-profit world.
