Bio
Safiya Merchant
Michael is a great supervisor who collaborates with his employees, supports their goals and helps them become both better workers and people. He values inclusive storytelling and community engagement, and always understands the big picture. While I worked for Michael as an education reporter at the Battle Creek Enquirer, he always encouraged me to think creatively, expand my storytelling skills and go above and beyond to connect with my community. Any company would be lucky to have him.
Justin Hinkley
Mac is one of those managers who leads from the trenches with his troops. He provides the vision — always seeing the big picture, asking the questions that haven't been asked — but also digs in and does the work. He not only demands greatness, he inspires it.
