      • Sep 2019 - Dec 2019

Through Mount Royal University and the Cross Cultural Management INBU 2201 course, I completed the X-Culture training program. In the program, I was positioned in a global virtual team with members from China, Germany and Saudi Arabia to create a comprehensive business plan for large scale company. In this case, our assigned challenge was to write a new market entry plan for the Lake Louise Ski Resort. The recommendations and ideas derived from out report were delivered to the company upon completion of the course. The global virtual team dynamic was excellent real-world way to be trained in this cutting-edge form of business. I learned important skills that centre around cultural relativism, regional business practises and effective use of communication to avoid international language barriers.
