As Application Developer, responsibilities include developing and maintaining any new/existing IBM Domino client/web applications. This includes the Colorado Legislative Management System which is used to manage Bills, Amendments, Committee Summaries, Floor Activity and all other Legislative Processes. Provided recommendations for design, coding and testing approaches to ensure overall quality. Designed, developed and implemented the following:• Redesigned the Committee Summary Database to include improved connectivity to Committee audio system, data integration with various satellite databases and note/vote entry. This redesign saved each Staffer approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour a day in entry and review of each Summary.• Redesigned the Web Conversion Database to include streamlining code, enhanced error trapping and improved interaction with Adobe Distiller. This redesigned saved support approximately 1 hour each day in reviewing errors and process failures. • Developed and maintained various departmental databases, using Lotus formula language and LotusScript, assuring improved performance of job functions and providing on-call support and monitoring.

As IT Manager, responsibilities included overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions, including, but not limited to directing all IT operations to meet and exceed customer requirements also responsible for the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure, applications, and development of new technical solutions.• Manage 2 Network Administrators, 2 Developers and a SQL DBA.• Setup backup/recovery environment located at Supernap (Data Center) in Las Vegas. This improved availability to all Clients and served as a Data Disaster Recovery Location.• Oversaw every aspect of migrating network name from Enoble to Vero. Supervised entire network move from one office location to another on a week night.Developed, maintained and supported all new /existing IBM Domino client/web applications. Implemented design naming, coding and user interface standards for all Domino databases.• Redesigned existing Factoring Application to include real-time connectivity to vendors and improved overall system performance. This included reducing the nightly process run time from 8 to 2 hours.• Created business processes improvements that resulted in an estimated company savings of $50,000 per year.• Developed the Client Contact Maintenance which allows an administrator to maintain the appropriate level of access to a client databases. Options within this database include: communication types, primary contact and address information, username and passwords.

Created and maintained a workflow application that received facility maintenance requests for all of Progressive’s regional locations. This application resulted in the formation of a team whose goal was to create a corporate E-Commerce/Workflow System (PSC). One of two developers who created PSC, using Lotus formula language and LotusScript, which was and still is utilized company wide. Users within each department can create their own Product and Service Requests with a specialized Workflow. The following is a list of a few application features:• One Stop Shop for all Product (Office Supplies, Furniture, Computers and etc.) and Service (Maintenance, Telecom, PO and etc.) Requests.• Completely configurable workflow engine (decision tree), which was based off an application called Lotus Workflow.• Email and Text Notification• Calendar Integration• Integration with Internal PO System, SQL and other 3rd Party systems.• Used DXL to allow a user to create / maintain request forms without the need of Domino Designer.Additionally, developed and maintained various departmental databases assuring improved performance of job functions and providing on-call support and monitoring.
