      In January of 2015, the national organization of Architecture for Humanity went bankrupt, much to the surprise of the local chapter directors. The New Orleans chapter, along with many others worldwide, elected to continue our work, and rebuild a new 'bottom-up' organization to provide resources and coordination to continue our local work, with the temporary name of the 'Chapter network,' and the eventual final name of the 'Open Architecture Collaborative.' Duties included continuing the operations of the local chapter, as well as meeting with other chapter representatives worldwide, both on regular conference calls, and a weekend conference in which we hashed out a future vision and structure for the network.
