Michael and I worked together at our former company, CA Technologies. We were placed on a unique team tasked with delivering innovative solutions in the mainframe analytics space. Uncharted territory is a good way to describe many of our projects and it was in this challenging environment Michael’s inspiring level of discipline and laser focus shined. He is extremely talented at the craft of software engineering, but one of those rare individuals able to balance his considerable technical abilities with purpose, interpersonal communication and humility; attributes I’ve found to be just as essential as raw talent in this industry.

Michael reported to me during his time as a CA Datacom developer. He is a tremendously committed and self-motivated engineer. As part of a modernization initiative, the Datacom team needed research and prototyping done that ranged from low-level JNI libraries to Hadoop integration to mobile app work, and Michael was our go-to person for almost all of it. He not only delivered on time, but was very effective in communicating recommendations to the team and demoing candidate features to our customers. Michael's passion for learning and results-orientation will make him a great asset to any team. In all my years in the IT field, covering almost four decades, he is the most talented individual I’ve had the pleasure to work with!
