This position demanded following strict health and safety guidelines and security protocols, while liaising with Rail Freight Company’s, to accept and depart trains. There were many tasks to perform which included setting points to position trains, operating a weighbridge to obtain tare and gross weights, loading trains with wood pellet, issuing work permits to various contractors, routine inspection/maintenance of the rail infrastructure and using a P.C. to record information/contact customers.
