I had the pleasure of having Michael as a student in my first-year seminar on "The Fine Art of Travel" at Manhattanville College. Michael was a highly engaged student who was deeply interested in developing a global world view. His work in the class was of consistently high quality, and he always asked outstanding questions. I am sure that he would be an excellent member of any project team.

I have been working with Michael Thompson since freshman year at Manhattanville College. Currently, I mentor him in an Advanced Paralegal Certificate Program at Montclair State University. He is a determined, loyal young man with an exceptional work ethic. When Michael was a senior at Marist College, he took a Capping Course in philosophy; he wrote three analytical essays, a twenty-five-page research paper with thirty sources. Not only did he complete the paper, but he also completed a literature review and annotated bibliography for thirty books. Based on experience, it is difficult to find thirty resources even with a database. I recommend Michael for an entry-level position as an administrative assistant in any company.

This organization not only taught me how our federal government works as a federal republic at a beginner's level, but it also taught me how and when government power is divided between federal, state and local level.
