We offer services such as residential solar, commercial solar, home automation, residential electrical services, commercial electrical services, and vehicle charging. Analysis and consultation for green building, lighting design, network and electrical infrastructure in your home or business is also a strong interest of mine at SolarNinjas. As a co-founder of SolarNinjas Energy Solutions, I collaborated with my partner (John) to launch the company together. In our line of business, we provide an option to the market for a no-corners cut, top quality, local solution for all sizes of projects to help establish a high benchmark for the industry as it grows. Our combined talents in traditional electrical wiring with nerd influences in tech make us a powerful team. We enjoy solving problems creatively and strive to provide the best value to our customers.

  IBEW Local 424 represents the most highly skilled commercial and industrial electricians in Alberta. Within my role as an Electrician with their various contractors, I was responsible for task planning, Installation of electrical devices, QA/QC of my own work and others, structural support design and fabrication, crew management, mentoring, skills development, and safety. I was also responsible for performing preventive maintenance to ensure equipment readiness for all critical systems. Reliability and punctuality were strong values built upon in this environment. I was fortunate to have gained opportunities to expand beyond construction in the union environment to experience more planning and workflow development as well as push through product application improvements in the field. I also learned what NOT to do in terms of planning and execution by studying the lessons around me from the struggles in that industry. My frustrations formed many future opportunities to avoid those problems in my own work.
