During this time, the department maintained an average annual growth of 18% over a seven year period ($285,000 to $905,000) and exceeded profitability forecasts. Collaborated with the Human Resources department to manage the departments recruiting, hiring, and training & development objectives to ensure proper staffing levels. This included supervising the respective training & development of several department supervisors and ten full-time equivalent associates, administering semi-annual performance reviews using SMART goals, and exploring long-term growth and retention strategies with respect to the costs of bringing on new associates. Provided the Director of Finance with cost-benefit analyses for all food and beverage and promotional launches, as well as in-depth monthly and quarterly financial reviews on department performance relative to budgeted results that would be incorporated into annual budget meeting projections. Served as launch team member for The Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel with a particular focus on the casual and fine dining restaurant outlets, which involved the creation of training materials, leading simulated training activities, providing department supervisors and directors with progress updates, and generating a long-term needs assessment for each outlet.
