  Began as summer help to the Oceanview maintenance staff, responsible for surveying the community for potential issues and improvements, along with general landscaping duties. After one summer, was asked to return as a staff supervisor, responsible for 3-5 employees each shift (40 hours a week). As a maintenance staff supervisor, was responsible for regular communication with both property management and residents in order to maintain satisfaction and community quality for all stakeholders. On a weekly basis, worked with management to develop and assign tasks based on resident need. Served as a supervisor for the summer of 2019 and 2020, including during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. This experience allowed me to gain exposure in the client service industry (retirement age) along with adapting to constantly shifting health protocols from the state government, along with considering coworker and resident personal preferences during the uncertain time.
