Lodestar Marketing was born in a beach-side restaurant in Koh Tao, Thailand on a working holiday whilst discussing the development of the affiliate marketing industry in general in the SEA region. Whilst catching up fast, the channel is still quite far behind more mature markets such as the US, UK and Australia The question was: What could be done, who could help and how could the channel be grown in this region to allow more advertisers be able to benefit from the positive ROI it brings? Then we realised we were both looking at 2 of the most experienced people in this industry: us! Lodestar Marketing aims to make a meaningful impact to the performance marketing channel in this region and bring on clients that would benefit from our expertise and service. In addition, we aim to educate the industry around us so that we can play a part in growing this channel and making it the success it has been around the globe to-date! All of our clients benefit from well-structured and experienced support from the Senior Management down to the Account Management teams.

As a sequel to my studies, I interned with Free Is Better, where I have been a key contributor in lifting this start-up company off the ground. Free is Better is the worlds first advertising company that uses water bottles as their medium of media and distribution. I started in a diverse role, copywriting, social media and events management. This had me taking up roles which included gaining leads & sales for events, event appearance & client liaison. After a three month internship I moved into an account managerial position where I designed key concepts for the ‘Free Is Better’ static distribution model. This consisted of gaining 50+ key stockist acquisitions and liaised with those clients to successfully reach a stockist agreement, a scene for the brand to be seen. I was instrumental in the design and project management of the static distribution model, including relevant marketing and branding behind it.My holistic approach to organisational priorities has assisted in building relationships with key stakeholders from all industries and all walks of life. I enjoy being creative and exploring new mediums to deliver and sell ideas. I love having the opportunity to engage and network with people.
