Flight Operations Manager

Oct 2015 - Present
Our flight department is quite small, therefore I wear many hats. In addition to being the chief pilot, I manage our Citation Mustang ensuring that it is 100% dispatchable. I facilitate all aspects of each flight including monitoring our weather along our route and destination, creating and filing flight plans, arranging ground handling and ground transportation at our destination. I also handle the business elements of our operations including expense tracking and tax reporting. Our flight department is quite small, therefore I wear many hats. Aviation was always a passion of mine that I did recreationally. Ultimately I felt led to share my experience with others. After completing my flight instructor certificate, I successfully trained many students... some of which are flying for major airlines today. Through this process I have collected over 4000 flight hours in over 50 different aircraft models. Aviation was always a passion of mine that I did recreationally. Digital media was in its infancy but a small local company was doing great things with video and audio compression which at the time was extremely specialized work. We were one of the first companies in Arkansas to create computer-based training delivering corporate communication through a computer. Through that experience I developed a specialized skill set in creating multi-media programs using various hardware and software packages.
