A new innovative business, creating designer glass panels from recycled glass bottles otherwise destined for landfill sites. The glass panels are hand made and as such are individually unique. The product has many uses including work surfaces, floor and wall tiles, splash backs, glass art, opaque windows, trophies and shelving. The product is further enhanced with the addition of LED lighting to highlight the true characteristics of the glass. Recent installations include bars and restaurants where we have been able to reflect the customers green credentials by recycling their waste bottles. In another instance we have produced work surfaces highlighting our customers favourite gin and tonic tipple. Early Days but watch this space!!

Having started Diamik in 1983 out of the garage the business was sold to Greenlodge Holdings Ltd in 2000. Diamik was originally set up to manufacture computer workstations for schools (when computers started to be introduced into education, long time ago now !!) When sold the business was developing nicely, employing 120 brilliant people. One of my biggest mistakes was selling this company.
