The purpose of the Committee is to make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners and others regarding likely climate change impacts in Chatham County and ways to adapt to and mitigate these impacts. As a member, I contribute to researching, writing, and helping inform the Commissioners on how Chatham County may be affected by greenhouse gases and climate change, and how the county can help Chatham residents mitigate and prevent potential adverse affects from climate changes.
