Key Responsibilities •Take the lead role in managing the design output of the team for assigned projects – this includes coordinating the assembly of overall project design model to the required specification for project related design reviews •Develop overall concept designs for assigned projects taking into consideration the various stakeholder needs including those of the client, project engineering and manufacturing •Mentor and train junior designers in CAD design requirements, 3D modelling skills/software and preferred practices •Write guide documents for training purposes •Lead and contribute to the implementation of improvements to the mechanical design and engineering process aligned with the project team •Review and check drawings before issuing for manufacture •Contribute to the design process (Brainstorming, researching idea/s, establish design criteria, consider alternative solutions, develop design proposal and prototype, refine design) Achievements •Programming of over 150 different iLogic programs.
