This work is be a vital link between the new technology and existing services and will ensure the transition to Hive is a success. This will be achieved by working closely with MFT staff to analyse current processes, then agree on clinical and operational standards and future workflows to be incorporated into Epic, the software that runs Hive. I will also collaborate with our Business Intelligence team to make sure our systems meet operational and auditing requirementsAs a central member of the project, I lead on engagement with clinicians and other staff related to my EPIC modules. But I also worth with other EPR module teams across testing, security, user support and medical device integration. Show less

My main duties in this post included providing administrative and personal assistant/secretarial services to the team including, diary management, the preparation of agendas and minutes, and taking appropriate follow-up action as required; supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when is necessary for the head of department and team. l was also required to provide project management support to the implementation and delivery of the overarching programme, and the delivery of key projects pertaining to the role. As part of the project support I had to; solve problems and respond to unexpected demands as they arose, deliver against organisational objectives, achieving quality outcomes, prioritise my own workload and work to tight deadlines. I was also required to maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and participate in relevant internal and external meetings/ projects, services and initiatives to provide information, advice and expertise. Furthermore I undertook a significant amount of events planning, helping to organise two events a year with 150+ attendees, quarterly events with 40 attendees as well as ad hoc workshops and seminars. The planning not only involved venue scoping and price negotiation but dealing with stakeholders to get the correct subject matter experts to attend or to speak as well as making sure the events were well attended. I handled a large volume of healthcare calls within a small team of people. Calls had to be accurately logged, key information taken accurately from them and then have the important details passed on to the nurse or doctor who would be dealing with the patient. Calls and contact had strict guidelines which had to be adhered to; these guidelines were set out for several reasons including data protection, patient well-being and to negate liability. I also acted as a coordinator for nurses and doctors across several geographical regions which were up to 60miles across. I had to evaluate current workloads and the travel times between stations to see who was most appropriate to undertake any journeys. On some shifts I acted as shift lead which involved dealing with any problems on shift, including aggressive staff on the phone, staff refusing to do certain tasks and technological issues. The role also involved receiving and processing referrals for patients who could not be discharged from hospital until social care or intermediate care was in place. Referrals had to be logged on several systems and passed on to the correct department so the patients could be assessed. Before this happened, the documents underwent quality checks follow ups so the patient could be discharged with appropriate care in a timely fashion. I also helped train several new members of staff in both police custody and hospital referral work all whilst developing my own skills and improving my speed and efficiency at the tasks. Show less

    • Labourer and Planner
      • Dec 2006 - Dec 2017

My duties included the organising of equipment for orders which came in for instruments and parts, checking against available stock and other commitments for the company. When dealing with the logs and stock sheets I was dealing with a confidential data and took great care to ensure no privacy was breached. I also undertook heavy lifting and loading with the correct use of lifting techniques, the equipment lifted also had to be packed, transported and stored at both ends of the operations. I ensured this happened as efficiently as possible by analysing the venues and equipment involved and then planned the workload including any preparation involved, travel time and assembly time around this data. The number of individual jobs in a day could range from one to four so advanced coordination was required to ensure all clients were satisfied and received what they ordered, in doing this prioritisation was needed to keep the workplace functional and prepared. In addition, if required I would arrange the hire of a larger vehicle or trailer to keep costs down. Whilst at venues I would coordinate events with the relevant managers to keep the events running smoothly and on time as far as possible. I was also involved in sales; taking pictures of the products for sale, accurately valuing them and then creating simple, direct advertisements for them and trying to find buyers through a network of contacts which I had built up over the years as well as advertising online and at venues. • Project Coordinator
      • Oct 2013 - Jul 2014

At the Student Eats project I regularly worked as part of a team of one to four members ensuring that a variety of tasks were completed quickly and competently working towards clear targets, often within pre-set time constraints to ensure that follow on projects could start at the required times. On the occasions where there were more than four members available I would manage my own small team, working on multiple tasks whilst communicating with the project leaders. Whilst managing my own team I have successfully delegated tasks and led by example when required, such as with the complicated construction of a 20ft flat pack greenhouse. I often led by example as many of the people I was working with were students without great English skills and the most successful form of communication was a mixture of physical demonstrations and clear verbal instructions. I also regularly used my own initiative to undertake tasks which need doing such as the clearing of future work areas in order to increase overall productivity at the site and the preparation of equipment which would be used in the near future. When a project was underway I would also take any ideas I had for improvement and if they were simple and effective I would implement them myself or if aid or approval was needed I would take the suggestion higher.
