I had the pleasure of working with Michael for about 1.5 years while he was a client of mine. Michael provided a high degree of focus and priority on a number of initiatives that our companies were working on together. Michael Avon has been a peer for three (3) years with Citi Prepaid Services (formerly Ecount). He was hired to revamp the entire Fraud, Risk & Controls Unit and was given responsibility for Customer Service and Vendor Relations (Operations). His challenge was to put into place controls that did not exist from a risk perspective, implement from proof of concept a mind set of an efficiency process and approach, implement a higher degree of fraud identity to minimize our financial exposure for a growing business, improve both overall service and the internal communication. From my view, Michael was given his budget and headcount parameters and enough freedom and flexibility to get the job done, which he has done. I would like to offer my recommendation to you about Michael’s ability to perform. In a very short time he succeeded in making the necessary changes and implementing with tremendous success.
