Responsibilities include: Monitor/Maintain/Design Data Center switching network consisting of Cisco Nexus 9k, 7k, 5k, 2k (Fex) Monitor/Maintain/Design End User network consisting of Cisco 2960X, Cat9300 Work with Cisco wifi (9800-80/8540/5500 WLC). 802.1x auth handled Via Cisco ISE, Infrastructure monitoring via Cisco Prime. We leverage Cisco 3802i AP's and I am working towards migrating to 9120AP's with BLE activated and performing tracking analytics with Cisco DNA Spaces. Manage Meraki MX firewall infrastructure with connectivity to clinics leveraging SD-WAN for load balancing multiple ISP connections for redundancy. Monitor/maintain edge consisting of Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA 5555xfor 3rd party vpn connectivity, ASR 1002-X routers running BGP. Work with Cisco ADC controllers providing load balancing for servers leveraging GSLB for multi tenant high availability. Manage External DNS both registrations as well as record creation. Meet with vendors to test resources and decide on next-gen hardware and software options for our environment. Major accomplishments include: Work with telecom providers to decommission circuits I have discovered that are not in use/needed to save capital. Work with vendors to procure hardware in bulk attempting to save capital. Lead migration of wireless infrastructure running cisco 8540 controllers to 9800-80 controllers. Decommissioned old core switches (Catalyst 4500 and 6500 series) and replaced with Nexus 7k switches. Migrated enterprise infrastructure off of 2960x switches to catalyst 9300 series switches. Assisted in implementing 10gbps DIA to handle large work loads during COVID.
