Experienced with maintaining main engines and auxiliaries associated; fuel oil and lube oil systems, concentration of cooling water, the monitoring of the central freshwater and seawater systems, freshwater generation, HVAC for the accommodations, refrigeration systems for storage of produce, and the ships propulsion equipment. Knowledgeable with the use of programs such as Kongsberg, Excel, and Maximo. Capable of tracking trends and troubleshooting issues based off recorded data. Major maintenance completed such as azimuth thruster annuals, replacing main engine heads, A/C condenser replacements, main injector swap outs, major sea water pipe repairs, main engine saltwater cooler and thruster HPU upgrades. Tasked with executing the assigned preventive maintenance and completion of daily rounds and routines. Engineer in charge of weekly and monthly maintenance; routine cleaning of sea strainers, saltwater coolers, all pump PM inspections and the maintaining of proper levels for freshwater and lube oil systems. Properly complete and file lock out/tag outs, engine logs, maintenance schedules and reports.
