Michael is a highly motivated and intelligent individual. I was one of several mentors assigned to Michael during his intern at a ULA launch site. Michael asked all the right questions and easily grasped the concepts at hand. At the launch site he was able to participate in the many engineering disciplines required to process and launch the Atlas launch vehicle. He helped me with the vehicle systems that enable the Air Force to receive telemetry from the vehicle. Also the systems that allow the AF to track the vehicle and terminate the vehicles flight if required. He is a joy to work with and would be an asset to any team.
