  Oversee the Spike Photography department which provides photography services for Spike TV and their supplemental businesses. The photo department helps bring the Spike brand to life with still images for marketing and advertising campaigns, press, on-air, online and in various print media outlets. I work in integration with a variety of internal departments to produce and direct photo shoots for all of Spike's programming and events. In addition, I supply artwork both internally and externally.My job consists of many different parts. The first part is to oversee all of our print and press photography campaigns from inception to execution. This starts by working with our creative / design team and coming up with concepts to shoot. Based on the creative that comes back I find a photographer based on creative and budget. I negotiate the budget and contract terms with the photographer and photo agent that we think is the best for the project. I create inspiration boards and shot lists for the photo shoot and art direct the photo shoot to make sure we are getting the coverage we need to build the print art. Additionally, I work with our Press department to set-up gallery and episodic coverage of all of their photo shoots. I find the best unit photographers in whatever city we are filming and hire them to shoot behind the scenes for us. I also hire photographers to cover our events and award shows.The second part of my job consists of photo editing of all images and getting the required talent approvals for any talent that requires it. I go though all the unedited shoot and make selects of the best images. Then for talent that has approvals I upload all internally-approved images to a online lightbox for talent to view and make their selections based on their contract.The third part of my job is managing the photo archives for all photography of our shows.This consists of adding metadata to all our show images and adding the approved photos to our company server.

Assign and book photo shoots and work as an onset art director for press shoots. I fulfill photo requests for many departments including press, online, marketing and affiliates for both networks.
