  The development of a functionalized Lab-on-Chip unit. The device was developed onpolyimide (PI) and integrated gold microelectrode arrays, reference electrode based onAg/AgCl, and counter electrodes based on platinum. This was encapsulated with amicrofluidic structure which was fabricated from polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). The Lab-on-Chip allowed multiplexed detection and quantification of selected analytes by theinteraction with specific antibodies immobilized on functionalized magnetic particles thatwere detected through immobilized coating antigens. Impediametric measurements weremade after competitor-antibody binding events.Responsible for high quality written scientific documents for research grants andpublication, including writing, editing, and proof-reading grant proposals, scientificmanuscripts for peer review, conference abstracts, posters, and slide presentations. Also,the preparation of protocols for equipment and techniques based within the laboratory.
