About six Months ago I brought Mike on board as a consultant to sort out McCue's forecasting and inventory planning process. What I love about Mike is his ability to absorb large amounts of data and quickly formulate a simple excel based model. The demand and supply planning model he built has greatly improve McCue's ability to accurately forecast long-lead products resulting in improved inventory turns. The real benefit is the amount of consulting dollars saved as compared to implementing SAP or Oracle: given how his model compared favorably to what I used in SAP, we opted implement Mike's model.
