From August 2017 I started doing projects together with Danish Power Systems Aps which is a company doing research on and producing Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEA) for high-temperature fuel cells. - My Master thesis (35 ECTS) is titled "Activation of high-temperature PEM fuel cells" and is about general understandings of the activation period of a HT-PEM fuel cell regarding the diffusion of the phosphoric acid in the membrane. - My 1st special course project (5 ECTS) is titled "Characterization of catalyst and support materials for fuel cells" and is about characterization of the Carbon Black powder they use as catalyst support by doing X-ray diffraction, SEM measurements, EDX spectroscopy and Optical microscopy. - My 2nd special course project (10 ECTS) is titled "Development of ink for production of fuel cell electrodes" and is about optimizating the rheology of the ink which they use as electrode in their MEAs. Characterizations were made by Grindometer/Elcometer measurements, Sedimentation and Optical microscopy. Show less

Due to my job as a teaching assistant at DTU the professor responsible for the course "General Chemistry" (course no. 26000) asked how I would feel lecturing a whole class for approximately 2 hours. I was honoured to be asked and saw it as a big opportunity to improve my teaching skills. My bachelor thesis (20 ECTS) is titled "Proactive well workover maintanance model" and was in collaboration with Maersk Oil and DTU. I was seated at the Applied Technology department of Maersk Oil at Oslo Plads (Copenhagen) The research was about modeling/estimating an average lifetime of a well at the Gorm field before a workover was initiated. The chemistry point of view was to understand the corrosion and scaling formations inside the wells.
