    • Process Engineer
      • Aug 2018 - Present

The range of experience obtained is extensive as you can see below, varying from initial feasibility studies through to final handover to the client. My main skill set revolves around project management and process design as I showcase a strong sense of leadership and an eye for detail. Also, experienced in cryogenic design and installation, thermal oil utilities, process and utility piping design, and PuW, WFI, Culinary S&C systems. • Feasibility studies • Conceptual & detailed design • Project management • Procurement • Equipment and process commissioning, qualification & validation Example 1 includes - Based on client API site for 12 months as a Project Manager. A project worth €30M was divided into sections based on the initial PFD. My section was comprised of 2 No. Hastelloy reactors, SS316L feed tanks, a vent condenser, side arm thermal oil cooling, cryogenic liquid nitrogen injection system directly into the process and accompanying utility services and process transfer routes throughout the plant to both upstream and downstream services. I received direct reports from 6 contactors as well as the project teams varying disciplines and finally aided the project CQV team in the functional testing and commissioning of the liquid nitrogen injection system. Example 2 includes - Carried out the detailed design of the installation of a process chiller to increase site capacity for an API and finish and fill facility. My time was split between site and office support on this project which was worth <€0.5M. Upon CAPEX approval I issued the IFC pack and quickly progressed to PM where I received direct reports from 5 contractors as well as the site projects department. Handover was delayed due to COVID lockdowns however upon the lifting of the restrictions we swiftly completed our works to handover an impressive system which future proofs the site demand for PCW for the coming years.

    • Maintenance Technician
      • May 2009 - Aug 2018

Initially employed as a machine operator however, I swiftly progressed to maintenance manager followed by plant manager and finally store and transport manager at which point in time I held all four positions. My time here refined my appetite for a right first time stringent maintenance schedule as any downtime incurred had direct impact on the company revenue streams. This also allowed me to hone my scheduling and stock management skills aligning service product lead times with regular monthly planned shutdowns. Delegation and long term planning were also a considerable aspect of my assignments as regardless of my workload or expected targets, my team size varied from 3-8 personnel, all of which had varying skill and experience levels. • Plant maintenance and operation of plant (varying from 1000kg to 65000kg) • In depth knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic servicing • Continuous service and repair of conveyor systems through preventative maintenance • Tasked with continuous improvement of plant operations • Planning and coordination of planned shutdown • Store & transport manager • Tasked with locating and improving plant machinery • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Experienced in welding (Arc and Mig) and heavy fabrication
