I have worked with Michael Kann for several years on some very unique and challenging engineering projects. His experience in engineering design and solid works are exceptional! He is extremely creative and knowledgeable. I have never met an engineer quite like him, the perfect combination of creativity and applied technical skills!

I have worked with Mike for more than 14 years on many many projects and have found him to be a fantastic designer and excellent engineer. We work well together and after bouncing ideas around he comes up with really good solutions, and has the ability and insight into manufacturing and machining processes to ensure what he designs can actually be made, technically and economically. I was impressed when he took a Haas machining centre, installed a new control system and linked it via HSM Works to his Solidworks CAD system to make the parts he has designed. Good guy!

I worked with Mike as a consultant to my distribution business in the outdoor industry, selling high-end climbing products into outdoor retail. Aside from the work he did, that was critical to our product selection; Mike was always on hand to support the industry he lives for, to continually innovate in any way he could. His ability to adapt and deliver a solution that was simple and robust will surely see him continue to gain notoriety in the outdoor world as a go-to for product innovation. Whilst I doubt I will be able to work with Mike again due to an industry move some time back, I would be more than happy to make a recommendation for Mike personally, should it prove useful.

I started Casa Alfredino, an accomodation business in the Central Dolomites because I wanted to share my passion for these incredible mountains with like minded people. We bought and entirely refurbished a 1960's summer house and now have 2 apartments for rent. It's the ideal spot for all sorts of adventures - climbing, cycling, skiing, sightseeing or just straight up relaxing.
