Worked directly with an entrepreneurial radiologist to design and commercialize a disposable handheld biopsy device for breast cancer biopsies that will drastically improve the future of breast biopsy operations for both the patient and the doctor. Worked alongside three other classmates to create sketches, a bill of materials, a GANTT timing chart, a large-scale device mock-up, a prototype, and a fully constrained and dimensioned CAD model to be used to 3D print the final device.
