• Designed and implemented a complete overhaul of the districts wired and wireless infrastructure from the edge to the core. Some of the major changes made were that I decreased the size of all subnets and expanded the number of our VLANs to reduce broadcast domains. With subnets changed I implemented OSPF along with creating redundancy in the core. I was previously employed as a Systems Installation Engineer with Communication Innovators. I was previously employed as the Lead Field Technician for Southeast Polk Community Schools. I provided technology services ranging from user support to managing the network infrastructure, servers, and upgrades. During my time there I helped with a plethora of large projects including implementing a new Cisco ASA firewall, migrating to a new domain structure for easier management, managing the printer fleet, moving our email services to Google Workspace, and revamping the way faculty interact and use technology to benefit the education of over 7000 students.
