  I worked as a policy intern for the Office of MA State Senator Jo Comerford remotely and specialized in working on specific bills and small projects. In a team of 6 other interns, we created fact sheets and testimony for assigned bills for the new legislative session, learned about the fiscal budget process, assisted the food system caucas in a bill sheet for sponsorship, made social media content, and conducted research on vaccine rollouts across the state. I also spent a majority of my time logging constituent emails and learning about issues the greater community of Jo's district faced during normal times and during the pandemic.

  I worked for the MA AG's office as a non-legal summer intern with the Office of Community Engagement. I worked in a small team whose mission was to find ways to reach out to MA residents to inform them of their rights under the law and how the AG serves them. We created public webinar sessions where I assisted in finding community-based organizations in which the team could contact and get to join our sessions. I created an excel spreadsheet of over 200 Western Mass organizations to contact. I also helped with strategy sessions and attended group seminars about the AG's office and statewide government.
