Michael was always top banana in Graphic Design at Brighton. Involved with everything in school and in town. Good fun, unbelievably well-organised and focussed on his goals. He helped my by involving me with the Association of Illustrators magazine and then handing the baton over as Art Director. That made the difference and got me motivated. Thanks, Michael. That his career has been so stellar is no surprise and though it is hard to say to a Spurs fan - he deserves it all. His work is simply terrific.

Michael was a terrific President for the large Los Angeles Chapter, and worked hard to focus the efforts of this geographically challenged organization, motivating the senior part of the Chapter while attracting the next generation of designers into roles of responsibility, while pursuing multiple local and national initiatives.
