      I've served from 1988 under the delayed entry program from Harrisburg Pennsylvania. I then went to boot camp in Great Lakes followed by Operations Specialist "A" school. I spent 13 months in the Persian Gulf with Commander Middle East Forces Staff aboard USS LaSalle AGF 3 during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. I spent the next 3 years at Atlantic Fleet Weapons Training Facility Roosevelt Roads PR where is maintained data links and controlled Aircraft. I left PR and went to the USS Yorktown CG48 out of Norfolk as a Tactical Information Coordinator and Air Intercept Controller during Operation Allied Guardian. I left USS Yorktown and became an Instructor at Operations Specialist "C" schools to include Cooperative Engagement Capability, Multi-Tactical Data Link, Advanced Combat Direction System Block 0/1. Following a tour on shore duty I left and went to Navy Center for Tactical Systems Interoperability Sigonella Sicily where i qualified as a JICO. Immediately following a 3 year tour in Italy I went to USS WINSTON S CHURCHILL where the above description is provided.
