  2014 Re-joined the Crime Training Department (Regional worker with Humberside Police and South Yorkshire Police) to develop and deliver training relating to Protecting Vulnerable Persons. (Adults and Children)2009 Due to Government cuts I was redeployed as an Investigation Team Leader in the Domestic Abuse Unit in Scunthorpe, involved in the development of Civilian and Police Investigators in areas of domestic abuse. I supervised the vulnerable Adults Officer and have knowledge of the Safeguarding adult’s board. I was the evidence review officer for police decision making to the Crown Prosecution Service for Domestic Abuse and Vulnerable Adult investigations. I also the supervised the Missing Persons Officer. I have a good working knowledge of the safeguarding Children’s board. I have supervised Police staff in the area of volume crime investigations 2008 Obtained a certificate in mediation skills (principles of mediation / managing conflict constructively and managing difficult conflicts.2005 Joined the Crime Training Department where I was instrumental in design and delivery of Investigative Interviewing Courses at Tier 2 (Serious and Complex) Tier 3 (Specialist) and Tier 4 (Supervisors). I also assessed and internally verified work place portfolios. I obtained my training qualifications and assessing. 2005 Retired from the Police after 30 years’ service.1979 Detective Constable in Goole, Bridlington and the Hull City Centre. I was engaged as a Detective in the Criminal Investigation Department and Major Incident Teams dealing with Serious and Complex investigations and Major Crime, including murder investigations, fraud and serious crime.1975 Police Constable with Humberside Police1973 Police cadet with the Hull City Police.
