Between these, I supported a roundtable dinner with CEOs of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), learning to plan airtight logistics and construct an invite list. I also personally advised a BCIU trade mission to Indonesia, providing snap profiles on Indonesian executives and pertinent cultural background. In the end, I learned two key skills: logistics and information. The better you are both, the more likely your success in virtually any venture. The lessons I learned from BCIU were a high-paying salary indeed.

For instance, migrating to the cloud (becoming cloud-native) means faster updating and patching, which reduces downtime and lowers costs, which is an implication businesspersons can grasp easily and an explanation that the technical crowd will be satisfied with at first glance. I often provide additional technical information. I learned to communicate well, which is a skill applicable to varying roles from business development to business intelligence to the role your company requires.
