• Assisted in organizing programs, such as a meeting with approximately a dozen Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) CEOs, refining invite lists and formulating program materials for successful program outcomes. • Advised a BCIU trade mission to Indonesia, providing snap profiles on C-suite executives and pertinent cultural background for effective execution of the trade mission. • Conducted database management (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge) by inputting and updating data for the easy retrieval and exploitation of data for future operations. I never imagined working in a place like the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), but there I was cooperating with a skilled team that routinely arranged meetings with executives from multinational corporations. Paid in experience, my friends joked. The best salary, I replied. Working directly under a senior vice president of BCIU, the team and I organized multiple events, planning logistics and when the day came, adapting to circumstance. We outreached to BCIU member corporations to build invite lists, booked venues, and constructed itineraries. Between these, I supported a roundtable dinner with CEOs of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), learning to plan airtight logistics and construct an invite list. I also personally advised a BCIU trade mission to Indonesia, providing snap profiles on Indonesian executives and pertinent cultural background. In the end, I learned two key skills: logistics and information. The better you are both, the more likely your success in virtually any venture. The lessons I learned from BCIU were a high-paying salary indeed.

• Analyzed Azure Stack (a hybrid cloud computing system by Microsoft) as a deliverable, clearly defining its competitive edge against other systems to provide potential customers with persuasive offerings. • Operated Azure Stack to create and configure VMs, databases and resources to guide internal workshop, increasing competence and productivity within the company. • Cooperated with other divisions to understand Azure Stack’s strengths and weaknesses across varied perspectives, crafting marketing materials that appealed to varying interests and audiences. They say the words “agile” and “cloud-native” increases stock prices by 500% every time they’re mentioned. I only hope they will increase my job finding rate by a similar magnitude. In CBNCloud, I formulated marketing materials to appeal to both CEOs and CTOs, translating technical terms, like “agile,” “cloud-native,” and “DevOps,” into concrete business outcomes while retaining their essence. For instance, migrating to the cloud (becoming cloud-native) means faster updating and patching, which reduces downtime and lowers costs, which is an implication businesspersons can grasp easily and an explanation that the technical crowd will be satisfied with at first glance. I often provide additional technical information. I learned to communicate well, which is a skill applicable to varying roles from business development to business intelligence to the role your company requires.
