Investigate the application of systems, tools, and concepts to minimize risk in an organization's cyberspace initiatives. Examine system development and application assurance from a holistic viewpoint that spans the cyberspace landscapes. Day to day responsibilities will include reviewing admission applications to ensure they meet high academic quality, conducting unofficial transcript evaluations and interviews to determine prerequisite requirements and optimal course sequencing. In addition, this position will counsel and advise at-risk students in order to improve their academic progress. The Associate Dean will assist in departmental initiatives and projects that will increase the level of effectiveness and efficiency of academic systems and support while aiming to achieve increased retention, persistence, and graduation rates.
