The lab focuses on the science of the psychological changes and mental health pathology caused by trauma on individuals, their families, and their communities, over time and between generations - Worked on expert witness report to inform judicial hearings for psychological effects of trauma experienced by parents detained at U.S. border who were separated from their children by Immigration and Customs Enforcement - Worked on expert witness report to inform U.S. federal civil hearing for psychological effects of trauma experienced by Somaliland civilians during Somali Civil War - Traveled to Lesvos, Greece, to assist in delivering best mental health intervention practice workshops to nongovernmental organizations, such as Doctors Without Borders and the International Committee of the Red Cross - Traveled to Athens, Greece (2021) to conduct asylum evaluations under the supervision of Dr. Reicherter - Traveled to Athens, Greece (2022) to assist in the expansion of infrastructure for Lamp, Lifeboat, Ladder, a refugee resettlement project of ReedSmith LLC.
