  Here I was stationed in China for 13months where I was working on the new building SEA CHALLENGER that is a offshore wind turbine installation vessel with a hydraulic jacking system of a maximum jacking capacity of 18.200tons.I was the Junior Jacking System Inspector, where I was responsible for the supervision of all the of the pipe manufacturing including flushing, pressure testing, alignment and testing of the hydraulic power units of in total 8 electric motors of 475kW each, and 8 swash plate high and low pressure pumps.Besides the jacking system, there was several other hydraulic systems I supervised, such as: hatches, watertight doors, thruster hydraulic power units, etc. Show less
