Mike has been a pleasure to work under as the editor in chief of the Royal Purple Newspaper. I believe Mike's leadership on staff has much to do with the Royal Purple's positive working environment. He is an affective leader as well as communicator and isn't afraid to make things fun. One of the things Mike has done an outstanding job of this year is stressing multimedia coverage as well as social-media use. As journalism is in a state of convergence, Mike has been an active force in adapting to these changes and making sure our publication caters to our audience's changing wants and needs. As a co-worker, as a fellow student journalist and as a friend, Mike has truly been a positive influence on my life and it has been my great pleasure working with him on staff.
